Job description
Breakfast Manager
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the breakfast service, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation
- Coordinate food production and preparation, ensuring high quality and presentation standards
- Manage inventory and ordering of breakfast supplies and ingredients
- Train and supervise breakfast staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Create and update breakfast menus, taking into account guest preferences and dietary restrictions
- Collaborate with the catering department to plan and execute breakfast events
- Assist with bartending duties during breakfast service as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the breakfast area
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food production or a related role, preferably in a hotel or catering setting
- Strong knowledge of breakfast food preparation techniques and presentation standards
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Bartending experience is a plus
- Knowledge of banquet operations is an asset
- Passion for coffee is desirable
