What You’ll Do

As part of our KAJ Sales Team, you’ll help us achieve and exceed our revenue goals by selling a memorable experience in all market segments of the hotel including meetings and events. You will be responsible for soliciting, negotiating and booking new and repeat business through an active schedule of prospecting, telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, sales blitzes, site tours, client meetings, community involvement and industry networking activities – all of which develop business relationships in the community so our hotel is top of mind. As the main sales contact at the property, you’ll be expected to research and maintain knowledge of market trends, business news, competition and events. You will lead a sales manager who will handle all incoming group bookings and help prospect for new meeting business so you can focus 100% of your time on uncovering new business opportunities. This is a hands-on sales leadership role in which you’ll maintain both Hilton and KAJ Hospitality’s high standards of excellence.

Other Responsibilities

Lead, manage and hold accountable one Catering Sales Manager

Maximize prime selling hours during week by representing the hotel at outside sales calls

Conduct a minimum number of highly-qualified sales calls per week

Create quarterly sales goals

Cross-sell KAJ hotels in the market and region

Assist with bookings when Sales Manager is out of office
