PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
Responsible for LMA (Leading, Managing, & Accountability) for the food and beverage and serve as the direct report for all restaurant staff
Ensure the necessary staffing levels are being effectively utilized with cost guidelines and every shift is covered and all food and beverage schedules are posted
Assist with the effective training and role development of food and beverage staff
Ensure all employees are trained and utilizing food and beverage checklists and processes
Hold quarterly team meetings.
Responsible for overall Restaurant employee engagement and carrying out the KAJ Buck employee incentive program.
GUEST EXPERIENCE:
Assist in providing the direction, support and empowerment of staff to deliver a professional and exceptional restaurant experience for each guest
Creatively seek and implement new ideas as to presentation and delivery of food and beverage to enhance guest experience
Increase guest satisfaction by providing appetizing pantry “grab-n-go” meals
Communicate any possible group leads to the sales team
OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITES:
Food and Beverage Inventory and Ordering per Marriott Standards
Best Brew Standards
Manage all money for bistro
Trained to help in all areas of the food and beverage department.
Execute all banquet events with the Sales Coordinator in accordance with both Marriott and KAJ high standards of service
Complete and maintain all Marriott GFSA required paperwork
Responsible for season menu changes and daily/weekly restaurant specials
Responsible for Bistro cost control & revenue generation to meet budget goals.
Required to work various shifts in the Bistro & cover shift when no other employee is available.
