We’re looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented sales professional to join our team as Group Sales Manager for a small portfolio of hotels in Fargo, ND, focusing on handling all incoming group sales inquiries.

What You’ll Do

As part of our KAJ Sales Team, you’ll be the primary contact for all incoming group sales leads for your assigned Fargo hotels. You’ll focus on creating strong client relationships, responding quickly and professionally to requests, and ensuring that each group’s experience exceeds expectations.

You’ll handle inquiries from a variety of sources, including CVB, Cvent, Hotelplanner, and more. You’ll conduct site visits, prepare proposals and contracts, manage group inventory, and coordinate details with the hotel’s operations team ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish.

Your role will also involve negotiating rates, matching guest needs with hotel availability, and cross-selling other KAJ properties when appropriate. From initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, you’ll ensure each client feels valued and excited to return.

Other Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming group sales leads for assigned Fargo hotels
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Conduct site visits and maintain communication with clients pre- and post-event
  • Track lost business for strategy analysis
  • Utilize Amadeus Delphi daily for account management, reporting, and lead tracking
  • Cross-sell other KAJ properties when appropriate
  • Participate in occasional outside sales calls with market Directors of Sales to generate new group business opportunities

Salary range is 40-45k + bonus.
